Hello!

I know I've been very, very bad lately in not updating anything--or answering any comments. If you left me a comment I'm sorry I haven't replied, I do appreciate all of your comments very much.

I recently quit my job. Over the past few months leading up to this event I had no interest in cakes what so ever because the atmosphere at work made me feel ill to even think about working on cakes. I had been very, very unhappy for a long time. Thankfully I am now out of that atmosphere and have moved on. Unfortunately, I lost my best friend during this life experience. It hurt a lot since she was like a sister to me. We were both forced into situations that were not good for either of us and it tore us apart. I hope she will remember the happy memories we made together, and perhaps we might have the chance to be friends again someday.

I was out of work for about a month and a half and I now have a job working as a cake decorator again for a different company. I am very happy and excited for the future.

I was able to move past my recent trials quickly thanks to finding my path as a Wiccan. I know talking about religion is a very touchy subject for some people, and if anyone reading this is offended, I'm sorry. I believe that no one is wrong in their choice of religion and that everyone should practice what they believe is right. We all end up in the same place anyway, so in a way we're all right.

I was raised Roman Catholic but never felt a spiritual connection to what I was taught. As I've mentioned, I've done a lot of soul searching over the past months and I know I have made the right decision. I am thankful that my experiences have allowed me to find my inner strength. I now feel like I'm in control of my life and have a self confidence that I never had before. I have joined an online Wiccan college called Sacred Mists (if anyone is interested in learning more about Wicca I highly recommend visiting this site. Everyone there is very nice and genuinely interested in helping each other.) and I have made a lot of friends there.

I feel a lot older in some respects, but I now have a fresh outlook on life. The most important thing I've learned is that you can't let negative energy eat away at you, not only will it depress you, it will make you physically sick. Always think positive and spread positive energy to those around you. You'll be surprised with the results!

I'm not going to promise any posts soon, but I will be posting on DA again in the future.
